5 Biggest Winners and Losers of WWE Crown Jewel 2025

The world has been talking about WWE Crown Jewel, and the excitement from fans to see the sequel has been off the charts. The premium live event featured some of the most incredible matches and moments, with the roar of the fans completely emanating from the roof of Perth’s RAC Arena.
With a number of incredible matches, Crown Jewel managed to elevate the character of many names and, at the same time, bury some of the biggest names. Some of them left the arena as winners, while others ended up losing. Let’s take a look at some of the biggest winners and losers in PLE.
#5. Winner: Stéphanie Vaquer
Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer has had an incredible run as one of the biggest names in the business. Less than a year after her debut, the star has managed to make headlines with a number of title wins, and her win at Crown Jewel has only elevated her standing in the industry.
Vaquer managed to defeat Tiffany Stratton at PLE, becoming the new WWE Women’s Crown Jewels Champion. The star not only walked away with all the gold, but also ended up being a winner, garnering love from fans around the world.
#4. Loser: Roman Reigns
It’s undoubtedly hard to believe, but WWE ended up portraying Roman Reigns as a big loser at Crown Jewel. OTC lost his match against Bronson Reed at PLE, thanks to Jey Uso’s accidental spear in the final moments of the match.
After the battle, Reigns seemed furious with his cousins, stating that he wanted to prove that he could win his battles alone, which he could not. This has now damaged all the momentum Reigns had on his side, and OTC needs a lot of work now to get back to the top as world champion.
#3. Winner: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins
Visionary Seth Rollins arrived at Crown Jewel with millions of thoughts playing games in his head. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion doubted his own abilities, repeatedly saying during the build-up to the match that he “needed” a PLE victory.
Additionally, Paul Heyman ordered Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed not to help Rollins, thus adding all the pressure on the latter. However, defying all doubts and the fact that he had never defeated Cody Rhodes, the visionary managed to win the undisputed WWE Championship and prove why he was leading the industry into the future.
#2. Loser: Cody Rhodes
While Seth Rollins left the RAC Arena a big winner following his match against Cody Rhodes, the latter ended up being a loser. After using every move in his arsenal, including a Cross Rhodes from the top rope, the American Nightmare was unable to hold off Rollins.
Although he is dubbed the company’s QB1, following his PLE loss, it is difficult to say whether Rhodes could maintain his position as the company’s leader. While Rhodes delivered an incredible performance, Rollins’ stunning victory completely changed the landscape of the game.
#1. Winner: Bronson Reed
Big Bronson Reed had everything against him when he came out to Perth to take on one of the biggest names in history. From his home crowd turning against him to the match becoming a 3-on-2 handicap saga with Roman Reigns having the advantage, Reed had the odds stacked against him.
However, with a victory against Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel, Reed managed to make headlines around the world and undoubtedly proved why Paul Heyman and Seth Rollins chose him as the future of the industry. Fans will have to wait and see what WWE has in store for the star next.
