After missing Wednesday’s practice and being limited Thursday due to illness, San Francisco 49ers superstar running back Christian McCaffrey returned to work Friday.
The 49ers announced that the three-time Pro Bowl guard is a full participant in team practice ahead of the Week 15 showdown against the Tennessee Titans at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Although the Niners face a lowly team that is already out of contention for an NFL playoff spot and has won just two games in 14 weeks during the 2025 regular season, they still can’t afford to let up.
Having McCaffrey on the field will always give San Francisco’s offense a high floor and ceiling. So far in the season, McCaffrey has 849 rushing yards and eight touchdowns on 237 carries.

Additionally, the former Stanford Cardinal star has 806 receiving yards and five touchdowns on 85 receptions and 107 targets. He has also shown durability in his ninth NFL season, having not missed a game so far in the campaign.

With McCaffrey looking ready to give it a shot in Week 15, we can expect the 49ers to have a big day on the field against one of the worst defenses in the league. The Titans are 29th overall this season averaging 27.5 points allowed per game.
San Francisco enters Week 15 on a three-game winning streak after a bye and with a 9-4 record that puts them in the NFL playoff picture. However, they still trail the 10-3 Los Angeles Rams and 10-3 Seattle Seahawks in the NFC West standings.
