Anderson is board certified in lifestyle medicine and is the lead instructor for the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM) “Food as Medicine” course. She is past chair of the ACLM Dietitian Member Interest Group, secretary of the Women’s Health Member Interest Group, and nutrition instructor for many other ACLM course offerings. She is co-author of Quick Start Guide to Plant-Based Nutrition and works with many leading organizations in the field of nutrition and lifestyle medicine to develop nutritional content, recipes and educational programs.

Anderson speaks frequently on the topics of women’s health and plant-based nutrition and is co-author of two lifestyle medicine textbooks, including the first on women’s health, Improving women’s health throughout life.

She earned a master’s degree in nutrition and physical performance and is a certified exercise physiologist and intuitive eating consultant. She is a student of herbal medicine and women’s integrative and functional medicine. She lives with her husband in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, where you’ll find her on a trail or in her backyard.
