I always think of Disney + like the escape streaming service, and it is not difficult to see why. With more Marvel, Star Wars and national georgraphic shows and films that you do not know what to do, it’s my go-to for the weekend (and even the week) where I want to transport my brain to another place for a minute.
The question with Disney + then becomes: which galaxy or universe or corner of our own planet to choose? Here are some ideas that I think you will like.

Wakanda’s eyes
If there is one thing in which Disney is good, it offers entertaining means of supporting the cannons of its main universes, such as MCU and Star Wars franchises, with convincing television series. I am particularly in love when they do it with superb animated programs like Wakanda’s eyes Because they often provide new ideas, characters and imaginative parameters to familiar worlds.
Through only four short autonomous episodes (a total execution time of only two hours), Wakanda’s eyes Takes the tradition of the hidden kingdom rich in vibranium and transports us in time for adventures centered on keeping the precious metal of bad hands.
For example, in In the lion’s denWe visit Crete in 1260 BC, where Dora Milaje in disgrace must be redeemed on a secret mission to recover vibranium technology stolen from a general Wakandan Voyou. And in the final, The last pantherTwo Wakandans in 1896 faced a black panther of the future which warns them of the repercussions on the chronology that we know and all love.
The animation is beautiful and the action is creative and fast – the series reminds me of the fascinating stories in the recent Predator: Killer killer Spin-off series I loved. The four episodes are easy to pass, and you will find yourself hoping for more.

Iron heart
From Wakanda’s eyes is such a quick frenzy, it is logical to continue the theme of the weekend and jump on Marvel Iron heart following. If you are a fan of the Black Panther and Wakanda scenarios, you may remember Iron heartGenie daughter Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne), the MIT prodigy who was in trouble Black Panther: Wakanda forever By building your own Iron Man style suit.
A direct continuation of Wakanda foreverWe catch up at the house in Chicago after being expelled at MIT and has trouble reaching both ends and finding the money to finish his costume. Enter Parker Robbins, alias the Hood (Anthony Ramos), a mysterious criminal with a dark power that leads a gang of high -tech thieves. Attracted by money, Riri reluctantly joined and gets caught in the harmful plan of the hood, while those of her life she loves (including the AI Hologram version of her deceased best friend) tries to keep her anchored.
There are excellent sequences of fact fighting with Riri in the costume, and the show presents great performance the casting, including a small part for Alden Ehrenreich (Han Solo!) As the son of Ironis Obadiah Stane (Jeff Bridges). There is even a revelation of a major character at the end that will shake the MCU. Iron heartThe six episodes are on a total execution time of just under five hours.

Outside
I recently devoted an entire article on the excellent new Disney + nature documentation Outside here on Geek. Because it is unique, entertaining and does not look like any fauna show that I have ever seen. And although it checks all the boxes for what makes an excellent spectacle of nature – a reduction videography, a close -up photograph impossible, majestic animals, a poignant conservation message – which will hang you for the walk is the super famous narrator of the series … Deadpool.
Okay, okay, not deadpool, but the next best thing – the guy who plays him. YesRyan Reynolds lends his considerable vocal talents Outside (It is also produced by its maximum effort company), and it is its playful mind, its sarcasm and its global “reynoldsism” which make it so fun, and an easy frenzy to a little more than three and a half hours, in total.
But that does not mean that everything is Reynolds; far from it. Outside Turn the genre Nature Show on its head by focusing not on the usual renowned subjects of the animal kingdom, but on its much more interesting monsters and crazy – badgeaux of insistent honey, invisible frogs, koalas with raw nursing tactics and criminal monkeys of Mastermind – Chypice, Sous -Plats to name.
Whether you have crossed the entire MCU, the house of the mouse, or you have crossed all the galaxies far, far, there is always somewhere to go with Disney + – with its access to its partners like Hulu, National Geographic, FX, and more.
