I need Sylvie and Matt to return to “Chicago Fire” in season 14

Publisher’s note: the following contains spoilers for the final of season 13 of Chicago Fire

Season 13 of Chicago Fire was chaotic, to put it well. Season 12 ending that of chef Boden (Eamonn Walker), a new chef has taken care of the form of Dom Pascal (Dermot Mulroney), and, well, he was not Boden. Terse, runs with the subtleties, and with an aura of suspicion about it, it took time to Firehouse 51 to kiss Pascal. (They finally did it, when his wife died.) In addition, Cruz (Joe Minoso) The past has returned to haunt him. Fly (Christian Prier) and Herrmann (David Eigenberg) has successfully examined the exams of the officers, apparently Configuration of a scenario This would see Herrmann moving Pascal as a chef, adding a tension of a season that has extended below. Carver (Jake Lockett) fought with alcoholism and with his feelings for purple (Hanako Greensmith), which, in turn, fought with his own feelings for him.

Then there was the epic A crossover in Chicago event “In the trenches”who was one of the best in the franchise. Kidd (Miranda Rae can) and selenceur (Taylor Kinney) Work to adopt a baby, to get closer before the carpet withdraws under them. Carver and Ritter (Daniel Daniel Ky)) does not come back next seasonAdding another layer of speculation as to how they bend. The final of season 13 did an excellent job to attach loose ends before next season – except still no indication of the way in which Ritter ends up leaving – and introduce new intriguing scenarios. What I believe that Firehouse 51 needs this coming season is Serenity now (yes, I heard it), and a way of doing it is to bring to the house Matthew (Jesse Spencer), Sylvie (Kara Killmer), and the rest of the Casey clan. And the timing could not be better.

“Brettsey” made the knot before leaving “Chicago Fire” in season 12

“Sylvie Brett, arriving here in this place was the most difficult battle of my life, but it was worth every moment because we are here now. You are my port in the storm.” So started Casey in its wedding wishes in season 12, episode 1 (entitled “Port in the Storm”, strangely), during a beautiful ceremony officiated by Boden in an aquarium. (How they get there is one of the funniest secondary scenarios in the series). He is not wrong, given the story of the couple during the program’s mandate. A Brettsey taase appeared in the final of season 7With Brett looking at him with adoration (inciting the partner Foster (Annie Ilonzeh) To say: “Already jump.”) After a call that saw Casey talk to a young boy whom he saved a car wreck. The feeling was clearly mutual, Casey going to approach Brett about an appointment, only to see her kiss her ex, Kyle Sheffield (Plush), and assumed that they were back together. In fact, they gathered, Brett leaving Chicago join Sheffield in Indiana at the start of season 8, only for Brett to return two episodes later, after having broken, and joined the team in episode 3, with Casey saying: “51 was simply not the same without you.”

Season 13 has just ended.

Brettsey seemed to be back, only for the ex of Casey, and the former partner of Brett, Gabby Dawson (Monica Raymund), to reappear and pour water into the quivering couple. But when Brett’s mother, whom she had just found, died after giving birth to her half-sister, Casey was there to help her cross her sorrow. The pairing, which had still not been formalized at this point, reached a new level at night after a particularly stressful day which saw it under the threat of a firearm during a rescue during the first of season 9. She asked Casey to spend the night and, in what is almost unprecedented in the genre, instead of tearing their clothes and hitting the bag, they play. But Brettsey was still pending after Casey could not commit to being above Dawson. It would take a serious injury to Casey during a call to bring them closerWith Brett by his side while he was recovering from the start. Finally, in season 9, episode 16, Brettsey was made official after having professed their love for each other and kissing with passion.

Only for Brettsey to survive, they should sail in the dangers of the long distance relationship, Casey moving in Oregon to be a standard parent for the two sons of his teammate. They gave him the former test of Proverbial College, but during the first in season 11, Brettsey, once again, was over. During the season, Brett decided to adopt a baby, which made him run. The timing could not be better, with Casey in town. After hearing about it, Casey went to Brett and proposed in the final of season 11, saying: “Sylvie Brett, we were supposed to be. Do you want to do me and the three children the luckiest family in the world? Wife me.” The answer was going to have to wait for the first of season 12, revealing that she said, indeed, yes. Consequently, the aforementioned marriage and the end of the long distance relationship with Brett, now Casey (and which will now be Sylvie), has moved to Portland, ending their Chicago Fire days.

The timing is just for the return of Brettsey to “Chicago Fire”

Since then, I have heard nothing on the boxes. Nothing. Zero. Nada. No updates as for their well-being, no visits without an appointment, so easy to make from Portland to Chicago (although if it was so easy, the whole long distance debacle would not have taken place in the first place). The two favorites of the fans are doing well, continuing their family, who has probably even grew up since. Or maybe they’re not doing well at all. It is not as if I had to know, despite seeing them evolve over the years in the series. But that’s the problem. I TO DO Care, and it is more than a little boring that there has been no crumb about them since their departure. But it’s now time to rectify this, NBC, and I know why – and how – you will do it.

To start, Casey left Firehouse 51 to move to Oregon to take care of Darden Boys, promising to take care of them Until Ben (Liam Booth) was 18 years old And can go to school in Chicago. It was three years ago in 2022, and if you added the age of Ben at the time, 15 and 3 years old, where – and even yours can really do the calculation – you get the Magic 18. He can go to school in Chicago, and the whole family can come with it. According to what is happening with purple, there could potentially be an opening for Sylvie to Firehouse 51, and with the departure of Carver and Ritter, there would be holes where Casey fits, so this is not a problem. Showrunner Andrea Newman even said that the door was open, and We will know more about Brettsey In the new season. The question is therefore not to know how they come back, that’s why.

Regarding Story, with Severide and Kidd taking two teenagers with a baby on the way, they are in a situation very, very similar to what Casey and Sylvie have experienced, and would be there for the support they will need to make it work. The show is missing from this element of Bromance that Severide and Casey shared (with their cigars and all that) and Severide and Pascal are certainly not there. Sylvie, too, has an indescribable spark that she brought to the show that Violet / Novak (Jochelyn Hudon) The dynamics approach, but is just short. A couple Sylvie / Novak, however, would be fun. Their return Bring this feeling of calm to the fire house 51 After their tumultuous year, a pair of alum which goes back easily without the disturbances that the new crew members normally bring. Likewise, I just want to know how they go, and if an image is worth a thousand words, an appearance, as small, was worth millions.
