We were all probably guilty of this non -no recycling at least once – throwing a disposable coffee cup or a take -out container in our trash can. Although you may think you do your part to help you, your optimistic recycling can actually harm the process.
Depending on where you live, there are items that are simply not recyclable, including varieties of paper, glass and plastic. Check with your city service provider to find out the details, but here is a list of elements that are generally not recyclable, as well as suggestions on how you can eliminate or reuse them.
Aerosol cans
Of course, they are made of metal. But as spray boxes also contain propergols and chemicals, most municipal systems treat them as dangerous materials.
Drummers
These are generally treated separately both in the regular recycling of waste and the edge of the street.
Shiny
Solid paper colors work like this red sock in your white laundry.
Ceramics and pottery
This includes things like coffee cups. You may be able to use them in the garden.
Diapers
It is not possible commercially to recover paper and plastic in disposable diapers.
Hazardous waste
This includes household chemicals, engine oil, antifreeze and other liquid coolers. The engine oil is recyclable, but it is generally handled separately from household items. Find out how your community manages dangerous materials before you need these services.

The windows, the mirrors, the bulbs and the dishes are not practical to recycle. The bottles and jars are generally good. Compact fluorescent bulbs (CFL) are recyclable, but contain a small amount of mercury and should not be treated like common domestic bulbs.
Juice boxes and other containers of coating cardboard drinks
Some manufacturers have started producing recyclable containers. These will be specially marked. The others are not suitable for reprocessing, including many disposable coffee cups from your local coffee.
Medical waste
Syringes, tubes, scalpels and other biohazards should be eliminated as such.
Paper towels and towels
Discouraged because of what they were able to absorb. Consider composting.
Paper towels
Fabrics and towels are also included because they generally hold too much residue.
Pizzas
Too much fat. While some compost lovers avoid adding pizza boxes to their battery, others do not report any problems. That’s it or the trash.
Plastic bags and plastic film

If possible, clean and reuse the bags. You can even return them (with many other plastic movies) to your grocery store or via recyclebank.
Plastic coating boxes, plastic or plastic food boxes without recycling brands
Have safe.
Plastic screw tops
Throw recyclable plastic bottles separately. Remember that the smallest traffic jams are a risk of suffocation.
Grated paper
Although most simple paper can be recycled, it is difficult for recycling centers to determine the type of paper if it is shredded. However, you can use shredded paper in your compost or mulch.
Polystyrene foam

The plastic containers which contained food cannot be recycled unless they are carefully rinsed. The oily residues left on the containers make them non -recyclable.
Tires
Many states require a separate elimination of tires (and collect costs at the point of sale for this purpose).
Tyvek shipping envelopes
These are the types used by the post office and night delivery companies.
Wet paper
In general, recyclers take a success on paper articles exposed to water. The fibers can be damaged and there are risks of contamination.
Hangers
Most centers do not have the capacity to recycle the wire. However, most dry cleaners willingly remove them from your hands.
Yogurt cups
Many centers do not recycle plastics with figures from three to seven. These items are generally food containers such as cups of yogurt, butter baths and oil bottles.
Your municipal recycling system obtains the last word on what belongs to your bac. Some areas will limit more elements that we have listed. Others have special programs to deal with problematic documents. In most cases, municipal systems are happy to provide written directives.
