2025 PGA Scottie Scheffler champion Last high -level major winner

It is often said that the cream rises to the top. The PGA championship was an example.
Earlier in the event that the classification felt like a little questioning with curious names that drag after Thursday’s activity. Over the weekend, Scottie Scheffler, Bryson Dechambeau and Jon Rahm all led Scottie, Scottie crossed them all to ensure his third major career victory.
With all the respect due to Rahm, it was pleasant to see him face again in a major, names like Scottie and Bryson became commonplace in the majors in the past year and a half (Rahm suggested that he would also come back). Upon entering Quail Hollow, nobody chose a winner outside of Scheffler, Dechambeau or Rory McILroy and Scottie proved that the idea was founded in logic and reason.
These three names are all holders of major championships. Scottie’s victory at Quail Hollow may be his last adult, but since he won his second masters at the start of last year, we saw a series of serious names winning the most coveted prizes in the game.
Major-Gagnants of the Championship, 2024 to present
- 2024 Masters: Scottie Scheffler
- 2024 PGA championship: Xander Schauffele
- 2024 US Open: Bryson Dechambeau
- 2024 Open championship: Xander Schauffele
- 2025 Masters: Rory McILroy
- 2025 PGA championship: Scottie Scheffler
With all the respect due to Brian Harman also, he won the open championship directly preceding Scottie’s victory in 2024, he is not in the same rank as the names of this list from a global perspective. Scottie, Rory and Xander are currently the three best golfers in the world by OWGR. Although this is a defective system given the state of professional golf course, they are still inside the first six in the classification of data golf professionals (like Bryson).
All this finally proves that the golf remains in an incredible place with its stars appearing when the lights shine the brightest.
The next step in this sense is the open in the United States in Oakmont.
