The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards return Saturday at 8 p.m. HE, with Tyla who should host the ceremony at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.
Viewers can connect to the show on Nickelodeon, as well as Nicktoons, the Nick Jr., Teennick, MTV2 and CMT channel. The show can also be broadcast on Hulu + Live TV, Philo, Directv and Sling TV.
The ceremony will include the famous slimings, the performances (such as “Gnarly” by Katseye) and the skateboard cascades. Rewards will be awarded for achievements in cinema, music, sports and more. Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez and Ariana Grande are the most nominated stars, winning four nominations each. Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black and Jelly Roll have each received three headlongs. Several of the biggest stars of the year received their first KCA appointments, including Cynthia Erivo, Doechii, Shohei Ohtani, Gracie Abrams, Chappell Roan and Florence Pugh.
Other nominees include: Bad Bunny and Bruno Mars for the favorite male artist, Addison Rae for the favorite female artist, Benson Boone for the favorite brush artist, Tyla for the favorite music star of music, Coco Gauff and Simone Biles for the favorite female sport star, “Paddington in Peru” for the favorite film of reality for the favorite film. Fans can vote online for prices.
Jack Black, a former Kids’ Choice prize host and previous winner, will receive the King of Comedy Award at the ceremony. Adam Sandler was the first to win the award in 2023.
