The swirling year of Rory McILroy of Professional Golf will not end. It started with three big victories at the start of the season, including its first historic Masters victory.
Then last week, McILroy added a very dramatic moment with his victory back to the clutch at the Irish Open. With this victory, McILroy almost ensured a seventh race towards the title of Dubai.
But he still has a lot to play Wentworth. Beyond the check for the winner of 1.53 million dollars, Rory and his European players from the Ryder Cup use the BMW PGA to prepare for the force test at Bethpage Black.
McILroy will semet for the opening tour Thursday morning at 7:45 a.m. HE. He will play the first round alongside his European compatriots Ryder Shane Lowry and Jon Rahm.
