Rosemont, ill. -The Big Ten conference announced on Thursday a complete ventilation of its 162 women’s basketball games for the 18 members for the 2025-26 season, as Live revealed on the Big Ten network.
Each Big Ten institution will play a calendar of 18 games for the seventh time in eight seasons, playing a school at home and outside, while facing 16 teams once. Among the opponents of one game, the institutions will face eight at home and eight on the road.
The conference season will go on Saturday, December 6, with three games, while the 12 remaining teams open a conference action on Sunday, December 7. The alley of the League stops for the holidays and resumes on Sunday December 28 with a programming of four games. The conference calendar should end on Sunday March 1 with 12 teams in action. The attention will turn to Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis for the 33rd Big Ten women’s basketball tournament, scheduled from March 4 to 8.
The USC will enter the 2025-26 campaign as a reigning champion Big Ten after taking 16-1 at a conference last season. The UCLA raised its first Big Ten Tournament trophy after beating the Trojans, 72-67, in the championship match.
