2 dead in an accident on Pacific Street near the I-680

Omaha, Neb. (Wowt) – Omaha police and fire rescue responded to a fatal accident of two vehicles on Friday on Pacific Street near Highway 680.

Two people, an adult and a child, were declared dead on the scene.

Shortly after the accident, reported around 12:15 p.m. Friday, OPD told First Alert 6 that two people died after the accident.

Two vehicles were involved in the accident: a van and a small black SUV. The driver was the only occupant of the truck; According to police, seven people were in the SUV.

OPD confirmed that five people had been sent to the children’s hospital, Chi-Bergan Mercy and Nebraska Medicine.
