Police arrested a suspect in the death of an 18-year-old who was killed in jet ski success when he was kayaking in Texas during the weekend.
Daikerlyn Alejandra Gonzalez Gonzalez was arrested in the death of Ava Moore, according to the Attorney General of Texas Ken Paxton. A man who was with Gonzalez and would have helped to flee the premises was also arrested, according to a press release from the Paxton office.
The incident occurred on Grapevine Lake on Sunday evening when the Jet Ski with two occupants hit and killed Moore, according to the Grapevine police service.

The passenger remained on the scene to be questioned by the first speakers while the operator fled with the man, according to the police. A press release from the Paxton office said that Gonzalez and the man were found by the police, including the Parks and the Texas fauna, the Grapevine police department, the Dallas police department, the Texas Public Security Department and the US Department of Homeland Security.
Gonzalez, originally from Venezuela, and man, who has not been publicly identified, is illegally found in the country, according to Paxton’s office.
Earlier, police had published a photo of the suspect, asking the public to help him identify him.

Grapevine Lake is a reservoir in northern Texas.
“Our thoughts concern the family and the friends of Ava during this difficult period. Texas gaming guards remain determined to ensure the safety of our public waters,” Grapevine police said in a statement.
