In the plant kingdom, the rules of broccoli – ask anyone who browses the aisles. For my part, I invariably throw a head (or two) in my basket every time I am during grocery store, whether or not I know what I will do with it. It is so versatile that the intention does not matter as much. I know that I can use it in the jumpers, add it to the pasta, puree it in the soup or garnish a pizza. Heck, I chose it even in pieces and adds it to the homemade dog food of my purple dog. Eating broccoli is never a problem.
