12 Best Silenced Weapons in Cyberpunk 2077

If you plan on making a stealth build in Cyberpunk 2077, you will need to pair it with some of the best-silenced weapons in the game. However, weapons don’t come readily silenced. Instead, adding silencers sometimes requires Eddies and other crafting components. Since the 2.0 update, you can’t add silencers to revolvers, further restricting what weapons can and can’t become silenced.

Silencers can only be added to Power Weapons, not Tech or Smart tools like Skippy. Despite this, there are still various pistols, assault rifles, and even a sniper that is perfect for putting Cyber psychos and Mercenaries silently to sleep. You’ll also want to recognize some of the unique melee weapons when aiming for a stealth build in Cyberpunk 2077, as they can help round out your silenced loadout.

Overwatch

Panam’s Sniper

If you choose to romance Panam and finish her storyline, you will end up with the game’s solo-silenced sniper, Overwatch. Mitch Anderson of the Nomads originally owned this rifle, which he gave to Panam during the “Ghost Town” mission. Panam then gives you this weapon as a thank-you for assisting in the rescue of Saul during the “Riders of the Storm” side mission.

Because no other sniper rifle comes silenced or can be modified to be silenced, it’s entirely worth romancing Panam in Cyberpunk 2077 just to get this sniper. This singular weapon is perfect for a long-distance stealth build, where you can take out several enemies from far away without ever alerting them.

The Overwatch can be upgraded to Tier 5, benefits from an increased reload speed, and is outfitted with Militech HPO Mk.77 Kanone MAX scope for long-range precision.

Seraph

Sabastian’s Pistol

If you stand beside Sabastian Ibarra and complete his side missions, he will remember your efforts. During the character’s final gig, called “God Bless This Mess,” you come to find the Seraph in your stash as a reward for all your hard work.

Even though it is simply an iconic variant of the Constitutional Arms Liberty, the Seraph is one of the best-silenced weapons V can ever find. What distinguishes the Seraph from other versions of this pistol is its unique modifier deals Thermal damage, allowing you to burn enemies with every shot.

Any enemy hit with the Seraph weapon has a chance to be set ablaze through its burning bullets. With this modifier still activating when the Seraph has a silencer attached, you can light foes on fire from silent shots before watching them burn trying to figure out what happened.

La Chingona Dorada

Jackie’s Pistol

Jackie’s Pistol, aka La Chingona Dorada, is a Tsunami Nue Pistol as well, but it has unique effects not standard to the ordinary weapon type. This pistol is equipped with a muzzle brake and have an iconic modifier that causes headshots to grant 10% increased Crit Damage and 10% increased Burn.

This set of abilities also gives the pistol the ability to gain extra ammo the next time you equip it equal to the number of headshots performed. This can be done up to 10 times total, but it is not the last trait the weapon has. It also has the POWER trait, which allows bullets to ricochet off surfaces, making it an intimidating weapon.

Even when not silenced, this weapon is potent in several build types, but tends to shine the most in a V character that prioritizes stealth. The weapon can be acquired in two main ways, either by completing the “Heroes” quest with El Coyote Cojo or purchasing it from Herold Lowe at the EBM Petrochem Station.

You have to wait 24 hours after completing the “Heroes” mission to find this pistol in your Stash. Alternatively, you can loot it from Herold’s shop for free if your character can get away with it.

The multitude of skills associated with this weapon makes it incredibly strong, but it heavily relies on your ability to land headshots to fuel its extra ammo. Silencing the weapon makes it far easier to access its modifiers, as headshots will line up better when enemies don’t know you’re coming.

Lexington x-MOD2

Rapid-Fire Pistol

Players who prefer a rapid-fire-style pistol in Cyberpunk 2077 should consider getting the Lexington x-MOD2. This oftentimes underrated weapon has an attack speed of 8, a Damage of 47, a reload speed of 0.9, and a healthy 20 rounds of ammunition to keep you in fights for longer periods of time.

However, the pistol’s most appealing feature is an iconic modifier that increases Headshot Damage by 50%. Of course, it can be outfitted with a silencer, but it also has two mod slots at once that gives you more chances to outfit the weapon further based on your preferences.

You can get the Lexington x-MOD2 by getting first place in the “Shoot To Thrill” side quest, which features a shooting competition with the 6th Street Gang.

This is, again, an iconic version of a regular pistol you can find in the game. In this case, it is based on the Militech M-10AF, but it features better stats and is the only one of its kind that can be found without the DLC. It also features a ClearVue Mk.8 Long Scope, which cannot be removed, limiting only a little bit of the gun’s customizable nature.

Arasaka Tamayura

Slow But Powerful Defensive Pistol

Going to the opposite end of the spectrum, the Arasaka Tamayura is a pistol that is far slower than its peers. However, it more than makes up for its lack of speed with heavy, high-damaging shots that burst and ricochet off surfaces thanks to its POWER trait.

Capable of being equipped with a Short Scope, you can slightly improve the range of the weapon, letting it fire off a high-powered silenced shot at a target you want to drop fast. This weapon is a great early game pistol to silence, as you can easily get it from several Night City vendors, or loot it from the body of an Arasaka operative.

Death and Taxes

Burst Pistol

Death and Taxes is one of the most unusual silenced pistols in Cyberpunk 2077, as each shot from this weapon fires in an unorthodox two-shot burst. The double-spread of each shot ramps up your damage significantly, especially when compared to most pistols in the game.

The best part is that you can add a silencer, turning it into a small silenced shotgun. As a result, you can effectively one-tap enemies with this weapon, making it ideal for stealth gameplay.

This gun can be found in Maiko Maeda’s office in Clouds, which can be accessed during the “Ex-Factor” side job in Cyberpunk 2077. You should see it sitting on a table facing you if you walk in the area’s main door. If you do not find it, you can pick it up later in Judy Alvarez’s apartment. This is an iconic version of a Nue Pistol, a firearm made by the Tsunami group.

Pride

Rogue’s Pistol

Another variant of the Constitutional Arms Liberty Pistol, the Pride weapon is just as powerful as the Seraph in many ways. It is the primary firearm of Rogue Amendiares, giving it a unique modifier that allows you to use it in tandem with the Prejudice Assault Rifle.

By dual wielding both the Pride and Prejudice weapons at the same time, Pride won’t consume ammo for a short time. This leads to many benefits of the weapon itself, with above-average damage and a higher Attack Speed you can find in the table below:

This weapon is additionally helpful in stealth, as your first shot from a new magazine is always guaranteed to be a Critical Hit. The damage of Pride’s headshots increases exponentially with your health, rewarding you with better damage for keeping V’s vitality high. As long as your health is about 75%, you will deal an additional 250%, making this gun practically a sniper pistol if you cannot find Overwatch.

If that’s not enough, you also get extra Crit Damage against Elite enemies with this weapon. This makes Pride almost a must-have weapon for taking out high-priority targets, such as bosses or other important Elite figures who might threaten to end your playthrough early.

Dying Night

Early Stealth Option

Dying Light is likely going to be one of the first guns you get; you probably already have it in your inventory. It may not have the highest stats, but it is a great, versatile weapon that can have a silencer equipped early. It’s an excellent option for any beginner, and you can add a better scope to it later as you get stronger.

This weapon has some melee uses as well that can work in early game builds, as you can simply hit enemies with it before you get any dedicated melee tool during your playthrough.

As you can see, Dying Light also comes with Armor Penetration, and if you use it while moving, you can deal additional damage. It may not be the best-silenced weapon, but it is a great start, and a beginner who wants to be stealthy should pursue getting it as soon as possible.

PSALM 11:6

Silenced Assault Rifle

The PSALM 11:6 says no to silenced pistols and yes to silenced assault rifles. This iconic variant of the Nokota D5 Copperhead has a unique modifier that causes it to deal Thermal damage with each bullet. This creates a rapid-fire stream of quiet flaming bullets that can devastate enemies when used properly.

The Thermal damage on this rifle increases the likelihood that enemies will burn to death rather than wasting another round to ensure they’re finished. Furthermore, it comes with a very appropriate flame decal, adding to the appeal of a running silenced assault rifle.

The PSALM 11:6 can only be crafted. Tom Ayer drops the Crafting Spec for the weapon during the side mission called “Suspected Organized Crime Activity: Just Say No.”

The modifier on this version of the assault rifle also has an increased magazine size, up to 50 rounds, all of which deal the same Thermal damage. At Tier 5, you will have an increased chance to burn off by 30%, giving you more opportunities to set crowds of enemies ablaze with a firestorm of shots.

M221 Saratoga

Customizable

At Tier 5, the M221 Saratoga is one of the few cool weapons in Cyberpunk 2077 that can maintain an insanely high damage output while being silenced. Aside from PSALM 11:6, there is little of an argument for choosing any other gun, especially when comparing Fire Rate and Reload Speed.

At the same time, the M221 Saratoga can also be modified with a scope and other accessories. As a result, you have a flexible number of options to customize the firearm in various ways, all of which support silencers.

If you are seeking this gun out, you can find it from several vendors throughout the game. You will likely want the BARGHEST variant, which has increased stats and can be found from Herold Lowe, a vendor at the EBM Petrochem Stadium in Dogtown accessed through the Phantom Liberty DLC.
