After weeks of competition without elimination, there was an elimination for the second consecutive day in the League of Legends of the Americas North Split 3 championship in Los Angeles on Sunday.
After completing the Pick-And-Play phase on equal tingling with regard to seventh place in eight teams, 100 thieves kept its race alive by beating Lyon 3-1 to advance in the quarter-finals of the lower Bracaille.
100 thieves opened an advance of 2-0 at the start of the Sunday match with a pair of victories on Red in 43 and 29 minutes. Lyon fought with a 30 -minute victory on Blue in match 3, but 100 thieves won the match with a 36 -minute victory over Blue.
Victor “FBI” Huang d’Australia led 100 thieves with 24 striking attacks while Bill “Eyla” Nguyen in Australia only managed two striking attacks, but led all players with 53 assists.
The South Korean Park “Hena” Jew-Hwan led Lyon with 17 striking attacks in a losing effort.
100 thieves will then face Team Liquid, which finished the Pick-And-Play phase in fourth place with a record of 1-2 game and a match differential at least one, on August 30 for a place in the semi-finals of the entire hook.
The other quarter-final of the lower branch will be disputed on August 29 and will see disguise, which eliminated the Dignitas on Saturday, face Cloud9, which finished the phase of Pick-And-Play tied at the top of the classification but lost its upper semi-final to make Shopify the rebellion on August 16.
The 6-7 weeks are also the best, with the districts of the lower support which take place next Friday and Saturday, and the final of the upper support scheduled for August 31. The three best teams qualify for the LTA championship, and the winner qualified for the 2025 world championship.
