1 death after turning to the popular restaurant Ocean boulevard in Myrtle Beach

The Myrtle Beach Police Service is investigating a deadly shooting that occurred on Friday evening in a popular restaurant in Myrtle Beach on Ocean Boulevard.

Police responded to Peaches Corner, located at 900 N. Ocean Boulevard, around 11:15 p.m.

According to the police from Myrtle Beach, an altercation between an employee and another person led to the shooting.

Authorities say that two people have been shot wounds during the confrontation.

One of the victims was transported to a local hospital with injuries that do not lead life.

The second individual died of his injuries.

A person is in detention in connection with the incident.

The agents remain on the scene and increased their presence in the region as the investigation continues.

Police ask anyone with information, photographs or video sequences related to the incident to come forward.
