007 First Light officially throws his James Bond, and it is exactly who you thought it was

Regarding the casting, no role in the world draws more attention than that of James Bond. Connery, Brosnan, Craig, each of us has our favorite version of the emblematic British spy. Now, after an internet detection work period (now confirmed), we have a new face to add to the Canon: Patrick Gibson.
007 First Light is the new Bond adventure of the developer Hitman Io Interactive, and offers a whole new story of origin for the MI6 agent. Gibson, 30, will represent the youngest on the 007 screen to date, which is only 26 years old at the start of this story. The Irish actor is in no way a complete unknown, having appeared in the TV shows Dexter: Original Sin, Shadow and Bone, and the OA, but it is not the superstar that some can expect with regard to one of the most durable roles in all films.

The first light narrative director Martin Emborg explained the decision not to go with a familiar name for me during a recent visit to the Copenhagen studio in Io.
“The way it works is less to look for that becomes our link,” said Emborg. “Who can assume this young version of the character? And I think that working with big names is a different exercise. He does not find the character as much as:” Oh, would it not be cool if he was Bond? “I don’t think it’s super attractive at any time, actually.”
What Gibson brings to this role is an excitable confidence and a lot of charm, but with an imprecision that suits this inexperienced link. “So, very effectively, what he brings to the character is energy,” said Emborg.
“He’s a very dynamic guy. It’s funny, when we work with the cinematographic team, if you are on a very long lens and it is in the foreground, it triggers a lot. He also has great severity for him. He is someone who can really bring a performance to life in the room; He just gives you checks immediately.

Meanwhile, classic characters 007, such as M (Priyanga Burford), Q (Alastair Mackenzie) and Miss Moneypenny (Kiera Lester), also present in 007 the first light, alongside new, including Bond, John Greenway (Lennie James – Fear the Walking Dead, Save Me) Nakai).
However, a more famous face has come in the IO production process. You can read how Daniel Craig’s face was put on a Hitman card in order to guarantee the rights of obligations here. You can also check how the passage of Queen Elizabeth II assigned the development of First Light and the IO CEO reflections on Mindseye’s publication after its disastrous launch.
